Everyone is different..most are anywhere between 4-5 days.

change it every other hour really depends on how much you are bleeding.

I would wear a pad always once you start to see it spotting..

And not every day of each month will be the same.

1. 3-7 days (usually 4 or 5)
2. whenver you need to
3. no. pantiliners if you want.
4. it's hard to say. sometimes they skip around & such.

I would change your pad every time you use the restroom.
I wouldn't wear a pad all the time just in case, but if it makes you feel more at ease, go for it. You will start to get a feel for when "Aunt Flow" is coming before it actually happens.
Who knows? Maybe your cycle is 21 days, maybe 28, or maybe 32. it is different for every woman:)

It will probably last a few days, but the very first ones can be sporadic, the body is as confused as you are.

You should change your pad when it gets full, you'll have to change more frequently at the beginning than on the last day. They can hold quite a bit, so don't feel like you have to run to the bathroom every hour.

You can wear pantyliners all the time, they are much cheaper and less wasteful. After a while you're learn to read you body and know when it's about to happen.

As far as the date in the future, it's really hard to say in the beginning. It's suppose to start every 28 days, counted from the first day. But you might find that normal for you is 29, or 26, or something like that, and again, it may take a few months for your body to find it's rhythm.

Good luck, and it's not as horrible as it sounds. You really do get used to it!

most women have their period for 4-7 days...the first day is lighter, then usually the 2nd and 3rd days are heavier, then the last days are lighter. You should change your pad every couple of hours, more if you have a really heavy period. You could also try tampons. You dont always have to wear a pad just in case...but you may want to wear a pantiliner when you think you are gonna start. Your cycle may be really unpredictable for awhile too..but you usually have a period every 28 days, so you may start around the 24th but not necessarily.

this is your first one? you wont have a regular schedual for a while but usually they last 3-10 days and happen every 27-31 days. but that depends on your body, everyone is different. change your pad every couple of hours. you dont always need to wear a pad but should wear one when you suspect you'll get it. to be on the safe side carry one with you and maybe for you first year carry spare underwear in you purse or bag. just be cautious about feeling wet. its usually a good indicator. mark when you get it on your calender, it'll help predict when you might get it again. there is no garuntee that u will or will not have it on june 24th. you might. its not something you can predict for sure.

it shouldnt last longer then a week.....u should change it at least 2 times if u bleed heavy like 3 times or 4.....no u shouldnt were a pad alll the time unless u start cramping or certian symptoms start appening that give u a sign that u bout to start.....it wat last till june 24th but it could start back on june 24th

well usual 3-7days.
(Mine last3-5)
You should change it every hour or two,(depending on how
heavy/light you're bleeding,or if it smells.)
You shold have to wear a pad all the time(when you're not on your period) Calculate 28days from the day you got you're period and you should get it around that time,(usually no later)
So you should get You're next month around Apil 22nd.

If you have anymore question you should talk to a parent/(someone you trust)

Periods can last anywhere from 2 days to a week and a half. If this is your first one, you might not have a regular cycle, but if you get crampy or achy it's probably time for you to put on a pad, just in case.

Change your pad when it is bloodied up. I usually change mine every three to four hours or so.

Ok it differs depending on the girl but a period usually lasts between 3-7 days. You should change your pad every 3-4 hours, or more often if you are leaking etc. You should wear a pad all the time during you're period, but you don't need to afterwards. If you want you can wear panty liners. No you may not have your period on June 24th as young girls periods can sometimes be more or less than a month- in other words, it may be irregular for a while. Good luck honey!

Anywhere from 3 to 7 days. It can change each month. The first two to three days are usually the heaviest flow, meaning you'll have to change your pad or tampon more frequently.

When its getting full. You'll be able to tell. You don't want it to get too full, because then it can leak and ruin your clothes. The heavier the day, the more often you have to change.

Not all the time. Your period should come around every 28 days or so. You'll feel symptoms (it may take a couple months to distinguish your symptoms.) For example, every month, a few days before my period, my breasts get sore, abdomen cramps, I become more moody, I crave chocolate (not a usual chocolate lover), and my sex drive is stronger. But sometimes there are no symptoms, and you'll just start. Most women start in the morning, or late evening/night.

Its not a huge deal when you learn to cope with it. :)

1. how long will it last a month- ok when i first started it didn't last but like 2 days, but normaly it last about 4-5 days a month. but if your lucky you will have a lite period and it won't be that long.
2. how many times do i change my pad- ok so you should change it depending at how much you are bleeding but if you are not sure change it every 2 hours or so or at least check it. just incase.
3. should i always wear a pad just in case- no because pads can be uncomfortable, but usually you get your period like every 28 days or 29 days so use a calneder to mark your fist day of your period then count 28 or 29 days and then once it is around that date wear a pannie liner those are comfortable and can help you from bleeding through your clothes (ucky).
4. will i have it june 24- well it all depends you will no by may, if you count ahead, i would say yes or around then because it is the 26th today and since it comes around every month you will most likly have it around then, but when you get your period in may count it out.

i hope i have helped, i have had mine for 2 years it sucks but you get used to it, good luck!

yes because your a late in a month gal so you have it later in the month then most people. And change ur pad every 2 to 3 hours i would perfer 2 because u first started and ususally it is heavy

and got any Questions about Tampons e-mail me

When Flo comes to visit, I know, dorky, right? Let's face it, this is one of the most embarrassing things that could ever happen to you, but it will still happen, month after month, year after year, until you become pregnant or get menopause...
that's not going to happen anytime soon though, so I'll answer your questions.
1. there is no way to tell until your first one ends, usually 3-7 days. It gets lighter or heavier depending on the amount of time it takes.
2. you can change it whenever it is comfortable to. After a while, you might become comfortable with going with the same one all day.
3. No, only when you are on your period or when you think it is going to start. You might want to wear one for about a day after it stops, it could be fooling you. You don't have to wear anything when you don't have it, but until you're comfortable, you'll want to wear pantiliners.
4. If you are worried about swimming, or anything along those lines, you might have it, it will go whenever it feels like it until you get into a pattern, which takes about 1-2 years, but don't worry, it could go earlier or later, whatever happens happens. que sera sera...
and bonne chance

every one is different for how long it last for because this is you first one i dont think it will last too long for you...

Change your pad 1 or 2 times a day depending how heavy you are bleeding. but make sure you do change every morning and every night

only wear a pad when you need you cos if you wear them all the time it will get exie... if need to just wear panty liners they are thinner and you can norm buy them for $1-2

you may not get your next period on this date because you will be qiute irregular for the fist few months or yr so dont stress if you dont get them... and once you get on a pill (if you choose to) you will get them more regular

what you can do other then that... make sure you carry a pad with you in your bag just incase (norm you will know when you are going to get them cos of cramping, bloating, weird stomach feeling or lower back pain)
Also if you are or begin to be sexually active use comdoms! even if you are on the pill because even if you have a irregular period you still can get pregnant...

youre having a pool party on june 24th huh?

Mine lasts 7 days and it sucks. Alot of people are telling you that you will know when it is comming because you wll feel cramps and stuff, but that is not true with everyone because I don't know until after it has started, so I would wear a pad all of the time when u think it is about to come(just incase). The way I know when it is time to change my pad is every time I go to the bathroom I pull it up a little from my panties, if you can see blood on the bottom of the pad then it is time to change it. You didn't ask this, but I am going to tell you anyway- you get really bad cramps on the first day(maybe before) and the best thing for cramps is Midol. I have never taken anything else because I have never had to. Until your period gets consistant (which may be never) you don't really know when you will get it. Hpoe this helped!!
