Period a week early?!?!

Question: I have always had regular periods 4 weeks apart like clockwork. I stopped taking my contraceptive pill almost 4 months ago and since then have continued to have regular periods. However, this month my period came exactly a week early. I don't consider myself to be under any particular stress and there is no possibility of pregnancy. Should I be concerned?

I wouldn't worry so long as you feel ok in yourself and are not bleeding too heavily or in a lot of pain. Even in women who have been as regular as clockwork all of their lives can have a period that is 'out of sync'.
More often than not there is no reason found for why it happens, it is just one of those things. See what happens next month, you probably will find your period is back to normal...however if you find that it is still early (or late or missing) then make a routine appointment with your doctor. He may run some tests just to check your hormone levels.
Take care.

i wouldn`t be.. it could just be a one off... perhaps stress related or it could still be your body reacting to changes since you come off the pill... keep the date noted and compare over next few months.

nah you shouldnt im sure if you ask around its normal when i came off the pill my periods starting coming early but 6 months later there fine.

no! myself along with 4 of my friends were all a week early this month, one of them said it had something to do with the time change
