I used a home detection test for vaginal problems. . .?!

Question: and it said that according to my ph rating that I could possibly have something called Trich. I have the symptoms of a yeast infection but it is recurring, every month right before my period I get the discharge and itching, this has been going on for 6 months now. I dont have medical insurance and cant afford to go to the doctor. And I never have time to go to Planned Parenthood to get tested. Does anyone have any other suggestions or recommendations?

READ THIS: IT IS NOT AN STD, IT'S A STBI...SEXUALLY TRANSMITED BACTERIAL INFECTION, AND THAT'S ONLY SOMETIMES!!!!! YOU DON'T HAVE AN STD!!!!

You have Trichomonis, NOT an STD.Trichomonis is a bacterial infection. It can stem from a bad case of Candida (yeast infection). Candida is a term used for many gynecological inflammations or infections, including yeast infections ,and bacterial infections like trichomonis and gardnerella. Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of the candida albicans, a yeast-like fungus which occurs naturally in the vagina. When the vaginal environment becomes unbalanced from taking antibiotics, douching, wearing tight fitting clothes etc., an overgrowth can occur. Once a woman develops a yeast infection, she can transmit it to a sexual partner. Trichomonis is generally sexually transmitted, though this bacteria may survive in bodily fluids such as semen, vaginal secretions, and urine as well as outside the body for a few hours. Symptoms appear within 4-28 days, varying on the cause. Yeast symptoms include mild to severe itching to the extent of pain and burning. Pain with intercourse. Thick cottage cheese like discharge, but may be creamy. Skin around vagina and vulva may be red. With Trichomonis there is increased white to yellow discharge which is often frothy and has a bad odor. Sometimes there is irritation of the vulva and vagina. With Gardnerella there is an increase in whitish discharge and an odor described as fishy.

To prevent yeast infections, you should always wash good, eat yogurt, and not wear tight undies...let that thang breath girl! And you are going to HAVE to see a Dr, go to the ER! They have charity for ER visits. You can work with the finacial department and tell the your situation and they will help you out. And you know what else...there is NOBODY sittin' in jail right now cause they didn't pay their bills. Your health is WAY more important than the ability to pay. Trust me, i'm a Nurse Practitioner. I see patients all day long that have no insurance, and no intentions to pay! What happens? I treat them anyway. know why? One cause I care about them and I don't care how much money they have, and two, it's against the law in the usa for you to turn someone away, ESPECIALLY in the ER just because of lacjk of insurance, if it is an emergency situation. I hope this will help you, I know it's long but at least now you are informed!

you need antibiotics please make time to see a doctor, this is a sexually transmitted infection, so your partner also needs to be treated

umm.
i realy dont no what to do.
sorry =\

are you on the pill? that could cause frequent yeast infections. Try taking acidophilus pills and eating a lot of plain yogurt. But you should probably try to get to planned parenthood to get tested because it could be something more serious. there are a lot of different infections you could have.

look it up at the library..i often use this encyclopedia by the american medical association - it has symptoms, ways to cure, background info, self-diagnosis points, etc

Shimmy is right. Find the time to go to Planned Parenthood. It is an STD, but a very common and curable one. You must get anti-biotics and treat your partner as well.

Internet gynecology. The wave of the future.
