I think it's likely that you still have a yeast infection, which is common after taking antibiotics. Healthy bacteria in your vagina usually eats the yeast. However, antibiotics can kill the bacteria, causing a yeast infection.

I am allergic to Monistat, and it sounds like you are sensitive to it as well. You should go back to the doctor and get a pill called Diflucan, which takes care of the infection in 3 days.

While you are waiting to go to the doctor, eat lots of yogurt. Yogurt contains the acidopholus bacteria that fights yeast. If you are feeling brave, the common natural remedy for yeast infections is to put plain yogurt inside your vagina and around your vaginal area.

It is also possible that you have another type of infection, so be sure to visit your doctor! Your doctor can do a quick culture test for a yeast infection to determine what the problem is.

I hope I helped!

allergies?

You might have a yeast infection which is common after using certain antibiotics. You might want to go back in an make sure you don't have a bacterial infection.

You can get a pill for a yeast infection now. One pill that is slow release and work for about 3 days usually symptoms are gone within 24 hours.

Simply try to use vaginal anti-itch cream. It might just help better than antibiotics. Thos sometimes are bull ****

ide try some of the over the counter cream for yeast infections for immediate relief then go back to the doctor for either a higher dose of antibiotics (cause they obviously didnt work) or some prescriptionanti itch vaginal creme

i had a similar problem and it all started and ended when i switched pads. Perhaps that might be your problem? I had switched to a generic brand and noticed a certain itching. Then i switched back and the irritation was gone.

if that wont work for you, maybe a cream?

for me antibiotics are what cause the yeast infections. They are awful for you! Try something more natural: eat a ton of plain yogurt, take a bath with a few spoon fulls of vinegar in it, put plain yogurt in your vagina (i know it sounds weird), drink a lot of water, take acidophilus pills.

I had a similar problem and come to find out i was allergic to scented soap and body wash. try buying summers eve wash for sensitive skin and see if that helps.

You sound like a dirty scank, ever think thats why? I'm a man, and just thought I should respond to female topics like all the women experts on the mens health forum.

do you shave it?!

sometimes antibiotics kill off natural bacteria that are good for you, so I would try getting probiotics, and finding some yogurt that is just milk and cultures, no preservatives or extra sugars or anything, just plain organic yogurt, and using it topically on your vag. its more soothing than an anti itch cream or drug store yeast infection treatment, also, try drinking some kombucha and stay away from sugar and simple carbs for a while.

If you have diabetes and your sugars are high this will create yeast infections to which are very hard to get rid of.
