I'm going to the GI today, what should i expect?!

Question: i'm 16, and for the last 7-8 months my stomach feels so bloated constantly, it's like a never ending cycle, and it just occured one day after i got home from a fair.

i can't take it, and it's turned me into a complete health freak, because i think i can control the bloating look with food, but it hasn't changed one thing. i drink water and everything.

it seriously looks like i'm pregnant sometimes. anyway..

i'm finally going to a GI and i'm nervous, because i don't know what to expect.

what will they do? could they give me a medicine or what?

It totally depends on what the doc. thinks it is. You might be told you need a colonoscapy. You are kind of young for that though, so I won't scare you with what the preparation for that is. The procedure for it is ok, because they put you to sleep. Good luck. I'm sure you'll be fine!

expect good things to happen!
