Well I'm glad that you are going to the doctor to get checked out. There isn't really much to say to you, because I would need more information to try to help you. Like, do you get sharp pains too? If so, it could be a cyst that is draining. I'm sorry, but its hard to tell when we don't have much to go on. It could be possible that you are anemic, but even then, it doesn't seem like you would bleed that long. My only advice is that you get an appt with your doctor before the 19th. They should treat this as something that needs to be looked at right away, especially if you are uncomfortable. If you cant get in to see your regular doctor, ask if you can see an OBGYN. They may be able to see you sooner. In the meantime, make sure you take vitamins and be sure you are getting a lot of iron supplements, especially if you are losing that much blood.

The only thing anyone here is gonna be able to tell you is "go to the doctor." A doctor would be able to examine you and ask you more in-depth questions and get a better understanding of what's going on. Sorry.

Go sooner to the doctor, there is really nothing else people can tell you to do.

I'm kinda confused so are you saying you started your period 4months ago and you've been bleeding foor that whole time?
Or are you saying you started 4months ago and every month you bleed for the week?
But yeah i'm sorry but i would have to say go to a doctor hun!
Good Luck
Ambra

I'm afraid I can't say much more than "ask your doctor". It is likely that you have endometriosis or some kind of uterine or endocrine problem.

However, you are bleeding a lot. Be sure to eat a lot of iron (leafy green vegetables, red meat, etc.) and vitamin B12 so that the blood loss does not make you anemic.

I hope I helped!

Megan - I am assuming by your avatar and writing style that you are not a menopausal 50-something year old. Again, assuming you are a young woman, this is not unheard of for a menstrual cycle.

You are right to see your doctor and have it checked out. I have friends who went through the same thing and there was nothing seriously wrong. Usually the doctor recommends birth control pills to regulate your cycle and that gets things back on track.

Having said that, I (and most people here) am not a medical professional so you are doing the right thing by making an appointment to see your doctor. But in the meantime, don't stress out!

I can tell you need to call the doctor in the morning and them that you cant wait till your next appt. This is getting way to serious to wait. You don't say what kind of BCP or any other medicines or surgerys that you have had or even if you have had a baby recently.

hopefully you can get in the docs!

That is not good - you should not have let it go on that long without seeing a doctor. I know you don't want to hear "go to the doctor" but you really need to and you probably should have a while ago if you've had a non-stop period for 4 months. That is NOT normal. I don't want to scare you but its very possible you have a serious health issue or a hormonal imbalance that is causing this.
