Tell Your mom immediatly. The same thing happened to me and I lost so much blood that I had to have 4 blood transfusions (I was 12). Have your mom take you to your OBGYN to be checked out. You could possibly have von wilda brons syndrom (I probably spelled it wrong) It's a bleeding disorder that one out every hundred people have. The best thing to do is tell your mom how much your bleeding so you don't have to go through what I did.

Problems like this at age 14 require a visit to the doctor- there may be something else going on. It's not normal.

you might want to go to the doctor and tell her about your problem. you should also consider birth control because it will help regulate your period and might lighten your flow.

i had the same problem- very heavy bleeding and lots of cramps. talk to you mom about going on birth control. loestrin24 (thats what im on for my problems) gives you a much shorter and lighter period! i used to have mine for 8 days, and now its only four! i love it. talk to your mom and get an appointment with a primary care doctor or gynecologist. they'll help you talk to you mom about going on birth control for your own health. good luck!

That's why there are doctors. Asking people on a website is not really going to help you. Harsh but true.

You need to go to the doctor right away and tell your parents this is something very serious and can be fixed.

try heavy tampons and wear a pad with it. if it persists try birth control.

Periods can be crazy when you are young. You should have someone take you to see a doctor if it is truly this heavy though. This much blood loss can cause anemia. Only your doctor can suggest other ways of controlling your period.
Sometimes doctors will prescribe bc pills to help control periods but, your doctor is the only one that can make that decision.

I would suggest birth conrtol, but hey, it's not for everyone.
I say go to the doctor first, and see what they say.
Good luck=)
