I know kids don't like to go to their parents about things. I remember when i was 12 I didn't.
The trust between you and your parents has to start somewhere. I think you should go to your parents and tell them what exactly is going on, from what you are saying this went both ways and when this other kid really gets questioned. Everything that happened including your pictured will comeout in the end
So the best thing to do is take a big deep breath and go tell your parents or parent the one that you feel that you can talk to the most.
Be honest, spill it all out, they maybe upset in the beginning. In the end they will be the one to help you and will the ones who will stand by you.

This has been edited --I noticed you don't want a go tell your parents answer.
Sometimes the answers you don't want are the best answers you will get in life that is the part of growing up that you are doing. That teacher isnt going to be able to help you in the long run only your parents are going to be able. Everything that you are telling your teacher is going right to your principle from what you said ..so no matter who you tell it is going back to your parents. Point is your making it harder for yourself. Make it a little easier, for yourself and the other person involved.

Yes tell your teacher. and ask for some counseling.

Woah, 12!- That's a little young to be involved with that stuff. If it leads to being in court, you are half at fault. That is a big issue and would be really unfair if you did not serve the consequences as well.

So the police are involved? Did they take your phones? if they did they can retrieve all messages sent and recieved i think your best bet is to tell the truth because the truth is bound to come out soon

Yes you should because if this goes any further than you are just as guilty as this kid.

sweetie, you have to! It's the right thing to do. This kid could get into alot of trouble. Also, why would you be doing stuff like that, you are only 12! Your mind isn't ready to handle that kind of thing. Trust me you will regret it one day. Try to stick to being young, when you grow up you don't get to just sit around and just do homework you have to pay bills and go to work and you have yo worry about BABIES and babies come from sex! haven't you taken human growth and developement? just be careful and tell the truth!

No, tell your parents because your teacher will just tell them anyway. IT IS THE LAW
