Question: im 12, and i havent had my period yet but i have been having discharge or whatever. but only when i go to the bathroom. i know this cuz my underwear isnt wet or dirty.
if it helps, i stayed home from school today cuz i felt sick.
should i be worried? PLEASE HELP

well discharge is normal at your age. you will know when you get your period because you will start to spot and feel a little bit of crampage (maybe) you may feel back aches head aches you may have pms its nothing to worry about everything you described sounds normal and hey if it helps getting your first period is exciting your becoming a young lady and you should feel empowered
you should see a doc if your worried
wait until your 16 thats how my sister was and she didnt get her period until she was 16 but if u dont get it when your 16 go to the doctor
12 puhlease, people dont get it untill they are like 13 14 15 ,
you can start your period as early as age 8. I know a few who started that early. I started mine when I was 11. So it is very possible you could be starting. Ask you mom how old she was when she started.
Discharge is completely normal and will not make you feel sick. People begin their periods at all different ages ranging anywhere from 10-16 (in most cases). You shouldn't be worried - just let your body take it's course and don't be scared!
