Why do older men think I'm pretty but boys my own age don't?!
Question: Men tell me all the time that I am pretty. That they don't get why I am single. This one man said if he was 17 again he would date me. I don't get it.

Older man are not worried about being rejected since they are only telling you what they think. They are also not perused as the Young boys are and they take the time to complement you as they should. Boys your age are to busy going after girls that are easy to get and in the process they miss both the inner and the outer beauty you have. Do not worry there will be the one that will really love you and make you feel that nothing exists but you and that will be much more to you then someone finding you pretty.
Because sometimes boys your age can't and won't express what they feel and isn't confident enough to. Men would because they know they can't date you and from experience they are more mature.
its because older men have more confidence and boys your own age dont, they see a pretty girl and think shes too good for me so dont pursue it, where older men have learnt thru time that thats not the case x

Boys are just that, they are little immature boys. Not men.
Because mature men can recognize real beauty and often tend to like uniqueness and more exotic looking women. Young boys tend to think the cute blond girl next door is the definition of beauty, but they usually grow out of that. Give it time - boys and men your age will come to appreciate your beauty. Especially once you get to college, the "cute" blond girls will probably be jealous of how much attention you get.
Sometimes boys like to play hard to get or act like they don't like u even when they do....i guess older men just express their feelings more....

As others have said: Older men are more able to express their feelings intelligently! Possibly they see you as not only "pretty" but your personality is also becoming to you. You may not feel it or even know what I'm talking about. It's hard to express it but I've noticed the same thing in my past.
Being attractive is totally in the eyes of the beholder. It's a total package. I'd give a dime to know your age.
Its because you are pretty and only a real man can see it.
