I'd try Yaz. I know several teenage girls who are on that and they absolutely love it.

Everybody reacts different from some pills.
I've been on 3 or 4 different birth control.
One made my body react so I got my period for 3 weeks.
Another made me get cramps, when I didn't even get cramps with out them, when I know girls who take the same pill, and it's fine.
I'm on tricyclen lo.
The shot. bcuz you have to remember to take the pill everyday, no interrupting sex like the condom or other over the counter things and it protects against pregnancy.
BUT, the shot does not protect against STI's so you need to have a teen who understands that using the condom until she is commited is def the way to go but shoting her in the behind every 3 months is really the only guarantee an parent has that they are using at least some form of protection. Lets face it they can quit taking the pill, they can not use the condom, but once the shots in the body it can't leave for 3 months.
Not having sex is the ONLY 100% effective method!!!

No form of birth control is 100% effective, therefore you should not be having sex until you are ready to be a mom!
I started taking the pill at 15 it was Ortho Tri Cyclen, I took it for my cramps, acne, and irregular periods, It worked great!It also worked great when I became sexually active but everyone is different and it may take several different pills to find the right one for you. I stopped taking it a few months ago because it no longer worked for me. I will be starting Alesse soon.
