Some women are more sensitive to this than others. You can sometimes feel once a month when your ovary releases an egg into the fallopian tube. This is typically a week or so before your period. Then, before your period or during, your uterus will hurt because prostaglandins (hormones produced by your body) are causing your uterus to contract (almost like peristalsis in the GI system) to force the blood lining down and out - aka menstruation. This can be very painful - I know it kills me! People have success with ibuprofen, but I find that walking it out or being physical (even having sex!) seems counterintuitive, but it works very well.

ovarian cancer?

your period

I have the same problem as that... turns out i have cysts on my ovaries...you should go in to a doctor and and an ultra sound done to make sure they arent cancerous~

mine hurts every month in between periods - i don't know why though

you may have a cyst on ur ovary i had them before and the are very painful tell ur gyn they may do a syno to see if that is what it is. they can cause u to have very have cycles. most woman have them but dont know.

Do you mean you are getting menstrual cramps? Yes this is normal. You can take pain relievers to help the pain. You can try using a heat pack where it hurts to help your muscles relax so it won't hurt as much.

maybe you have something in your ovary or uteres thats not suppose to be there. you should go see a doctor.
or maybe their cramps.

Maybe you have a cyst on your ovary. I would make an appt with your ob/gyn to get an ultrasound done. Sometimes they can give you medication to shrink them or at times the doctor might remove them.

Take some OTC tylenol or advil for the pain in the meantime.

Good Luck!
