Colonoscopy help ASAP!!?!
Question: ok so I cannot down that drink!!! its soo awful i barf everytime I try and drink it and sooo I was wondering if there was any other way to get that junk out of my system HELP ME!!

OsmoPrep. Its pills instead of the drink. Google it, read about it, talk to your doctor. If you do go that route, drink plenty of water the day after to avoid getting dehydrated.

My mom had the same problem her doc told me to take meds like Detrol and do an enema. But I would contact a nurse to see what they say about that. Try adding some sports drink your "drink" like orange flavor that worked for me.
are you talkin about that laxative? if you are... i soooooo understand! when they made me drink that for my colonoscopy i was gagging each time. although doctor told me i could use one of those water flavor mix thingy. as long as it's not red color
omg i know what you mean!is that not the worst taste in the world!?i threw up too, hold your nose while drinking that chalky stuff they have you drink...are you having constaption problems?if so i would recomand activina it helps regulate your digestive system and it really really works!
i didnt have to drink it casue im only 16 but i had to take many pills and that way i could not eat for 3 days it was the most horrrible thing ive ever done when i went to the childerns hospital to get it done they made me do an emma witch was equally horrible then an IV and im drasticly affarid of needles like i have complete break downs after all they your suppost to be knock out all the way .. lie .. i woke up 5 times and i remeber 4 of them it was so horrible i still get nightmares from it
I just went through the same experience. What worked for me (physician recommended) was MiraLax, 4-6 capsful a day. It has no taste at all and can be mixed with any beverage. If possible, start 3 days before the test. Do make certain to drink plenty of fluids with this.
