How do you tell when you're about to get your period?!
Question: I am almost 13, and I am pretty sure I'm close to getting my period. I am quite worried, and curious. I just wanted to know all the signs you have before it comes that day or the next day. I am so confused, I have nobody to ask. Well, I could ask my mum but i can't trust her with anything personal. So could someone please list all the signs and symptoms a girl of my age, at a healthy weight, would get before they get their period? Thanks. Please be informative, too.

well, i got mine when i was about ur age too [[a cuple of monthes ago infact]] i was kinda moody, had a lot of dis-charge [[if u dont kno what that is, google it or go to www.urbandictionary.com]] I cired over the littlest things, and um.. sometimes i would get cramps.. hope i helped, and if you have any other things you wanna kno, add additional deatials and i'll check. I kno what u mean about the mom thing [[i have a secret for you. she doesnt kno i started mine, i have my own stash of pads and tampons, bcause i know what she'll do wen she finds out, first she'll get all emotional, then she'll get on the fone and tell everyone and their brother, gosh, mothers!]]
do u mean the first time? well it is is difficult to predict. but a girl tend to look a little filled out and very pretty when she is going to start her cycle.
When I started mine it was about 11 aclock at night. I didn't get any cramps, bloating, anything. It just happend. Just felt like a leak and there it was.. blood.
Don't be too excited for it.
You'll hate it once you get it.
Well I got my first period around 10.
You are so lucky to be getting it at 13.
I am 13 myself.
Well anyway.
My Mom predicted that I would get my first period soon since I had a couple pinples around my cheeks.
Now thatis still how I find out I'm getting period.
And you NEED to tell your Mom.
She can help you alot.
