I believe it means that you may begin your period with in a few weeks or more. BUT....are you feeling anything different? Mood changed, your stomach is kinda crampy (almost like you need to use the bathroom #2?) are your breast sore or growing? There are a lot of things happening during puberty and a change in discharge is one of them. Let me know what else is going on....IM me @ c_shawnna

your even closer too getting your period

Well, if you haven't gotten your period yet and you have discharge this means your period is coming soon. Congratulations!

basically its just normal discharge. the hard discharge is just hardened discharge, meaning it came out during your sleep and just hardened. the other discharge was just fresh. discharge means your period isnt too far away. good luck

you will get your period soon-ish. I got that stuff when i turned 13, but it took 6 months before i actually got my period (you may wait longer than you think), but its still different for everyone.
good luck :)

This discharge is just a sign that tells you, you are on the edge of getting your period, so be aware =]

Its normal. You are even closer to your period gurl! lol im 11 and already have my period! im giving a 13 yr old advice on periods, weird.......

YOU GO GURL!!

Welcome to the pain of women... you might get your period soon and will have all of the terrible things that other women have.

There are several types of discharge. Most are normal The discharge you describe is perfectly normal and in fact is important to keep your vagina moist, lubricated, and healthy.

Types of discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

U might get ur period soon!!??

it doesn't mean anything.
just like you i had white discharge and then it turned to clear. then it turned to yellow a month before i got my first period. i went to the doctor and he said it was normal for it to be yellow.
you can have discharge up to 6 months to a year.

good luck!!!

ok i promise i went through the same thing. When i was 13 i started having discharge but no period. i didn't know what to do. Mines had always turned diffrent colors. it just lettin you know you bout to start you women hood. Mines started in Jan. and i came on in Oct. I still have discharge now even though im 14. But discharge is just a way of cleaning out your body before you start your period
