Is it okay to take my birth control pill an hour before or an hour after the tim!

Question: I just started birth control on monday and i think that the lady told me I had a 3 hour window of time but I don't remember for sure. I usually take it at 11 am on wednesday i forgot to take and then remembered at 12 so I just took it then. And tomorrow I have to work at 10 and I don't want to have to worry about having the pill with me when i'm on the floor would it be okay to take it at 10?

Absolutely. I forgot my pill once for a few hours, and when I went to Planned Parenthood for my next visit they told me that it is okay to forgot as long as you do not have a gap of like 10-12 hours from when you normally take it. This may be different for you if you are taking a different type of pill, but an hour definitely will not matter. You should call the office to make sure, or read the directions that came with your pills. If you are EVER unsure about your birth control, use a second method like a condom because you don't want to take any chances.

yes.

Of course! You are supposed to take a missed dose as soon as you remember that you have missed it. It will not harm you in anyway to take it an hour before or after your normal time. The only time you don't take it is if you are closer to the next dose than you are to the missed dose. Just try to keep it regular from now on and don't make a habit of changing the dosage times, this is when it gets a bit loopy!

I took Birth Control pills for about 5 years and I would take it around the same time every day give or take a couple of hours. And I don't have a baby.
