Question: Im 13 and i havent started my period yet.
Im not in a rush to,
its just im worried because at this age my sister had already started her period.
and my mom too!
girls at my school always talk about it and ask have you started yours? and im embarrased to say no.
Because there rude about it.
IS there something wrong.
Or am i just being a worrywart.?

you shouldn't be embarrased.
some people get them later on in life my best friends got hers when she was 17.
so its normal if you didn't start yet.
trust me you don't want it.
you could always ask your mom how old she was when she first got it and your sister.
its in your genes so it will show around the time they say so.
you body isn't ready for it to have your period your body needs to have a certain body fat to get it and when it feels like get it. you'll will know.
cramps. is the 1st sign.
but nothing to worry about it.
everyone starts at different ages so i wouldnt worry! :)
Dont worry about it. you will probly get it soon, and if you dont then just bring it up at your next doctors appointment. no need for alarm.

it is based on your hormone functioning and you have a slow hormone functioning
if you dont start your periods in the age of 15 then it is a problem for now be patient
Don't worry! it all about hormones. I have heard of a lot of people who don't start untill they are 17! Enjoy it! There is nothing great about it! You feel bad and you have to worry about bleeding on your clothes. It is not something you want I promise!
there is no need to wory u can have periods in the age of 9 to 16 years n you have not crossed this age u have time but if you cross this age then u should consult to doctor

everyones body grows different so dont be embarresed about this! girls usually have there periods around the ages of 11-14.You still have time dont worry about it!
Your just worrying some girls dont start till their 16 and some start as young as 9. I am 14 and i started at about 12. if i was you i would be glad i didnt started yet because you want to be like all the other girls who have it but once you do you hate it and wish you hadnt started. so enjoy it while you can = )
Nothing wrong with you. The puberty and the menstrual cycle are genetically and hormonally determined and different girls can have different development. Different persons in different countries with different physical development can have their first cycle from 11 to 17. If you would not have any changes (body changes+menstruation) up to 16-17
