How effective is the pill?!

Question: I know the pill is 98% effective, but is that when the guy comes in you? or does he have to pull out before he comes for it to be that effective?

98% effective. There is still the 2% chance...and the pill doesn't protect from STDs. With that said, it should be "no glove, no love" even if he is your long term bf.
And another thought: you should research the pill and be aware that the hormones you are administering to your body have other effects besides preventing conception. The fish in our waterways are overwhelmingly female thanks to the estrogen that people taking the pill pee out! Just a thought.

when there is sperm present, the pill will protect you 98% of the time.

it's effective regardless of what happens, but it's just smarter for the guy to still wear a condom and maybe even pull out for maximum security against pregnancy and diseases as well.

i wouldnt trust it. i know handfulls of girls who got pregnant on the pill. you have to take it at the same time everyday, i asked about it once and the nurse told me shes heard of pregnancies happening because they were just an hour off.

he can ejaculate in you. still 98% eeffective if you take it properly. may i suggest using a condom anyway for STI purposes.

you should only just use the pill (without condom) if you are in a long term trustworthy relationship or married.
