this will help!

good luck ;)

it's very normal that it hurts but usually it hurts only for the first two days. If you want to avoid pills, you can have a warm bath, that will relax your muscles and reduce your pain.

Take Midol or another Ibuprofen medication. Some people have extremely bad cramps/ heavy bleeding. Talk to your mom. If it is so bad that you feel like you can't go to school for a few days while on your period, then I would see about going on the birth control pill. Lots of girls/women are on the pill because it lightens their period and lessens the cramps experienced.l

norml

Having your monthly menstrual cycle is different for every female. For some, it can be really painful, and uncomfortable.

Just make sure that you take care of your body. Eat a balanced diet, drink lots of water, and exercise. Also, if need be, Midol does wonders, and will help with the pain.

Cramps are normal, only usually bad if followed by clots. try a warm heating pad !! My daughter is 13 ,and it really works for her , even a nice warm soak in the tub helps too!!! Try some Advil too !!! However if they get worse tell your parents so you can get checked out !!!!! Hope this helps you out !!!!!!!!!PEACE2U :)

Normal??? yes and no
As you'll learn your period sucks!!!
Every women is different....some have really bad symptoms some have none. I personally have bad cramps a week before and mood changes during, but I only bleed for 3-5 days. Try some Midol or another form of "period" pain relief.
Ibuprofen works really well, a heating pad, hot bath, and no tampons(sometimes they make the pain worst) if nothing seems to help, talk to your mom or someone that could take you to a doctor and maybe they could help....some women do have a condition which makes the monthly pain Even more horrible then most... good luck

yes, it is normal to have cramps and muscle soreness during your period. to relieve pain you should take ibuprofin; also there are many natural/herbal pills and medicines which you can buy at stores like whole foods--i've found that herbal medicines containing cramp bark work very well (it relaxes the cramped muscles). using a heating pad or taking a really hot bath can help too.
good luck!

put a hot compress

MY DAUGHTER IS 14 AND IS SUFFERING SEVERE CRAMPS. SINCE I DIDN'T HAVE MONEY TO BUY PAMPRIN, I GAVE HER IBUPROFREN AND THEN FILLED A 2 LTR POP BOTTLE WITH VERY WARM WATER TO PLACE ON HER TUMMY, HAVE PANTS ON SO IT WON'T BURN YOU. YOU CAN DO THIS 20 MINUTES AT A TIME. IF YOU CAN AFFORD A HOT PAD THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR THOSE TIMES OF PAIN.

I WAS 10 WHEN I HAD MY FIRST PERIOD SO I DIDN'T HURT VERY BAD ONLY A COUPLE CRAMPS IN MY STOMACH YOU NEED TO TAKE A HOT BATH AND AT NIGHT WHEN SLEEPING GET A HOT HEATING PAD AND PUT IT ON YOU WHERE EVER IT HURTS I HOPE I HELPED GOOD LUCK=) DON'T FREAK OUT AND DON'T STRESS OR ANYTHING IF IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER GO TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE AND BUY SOME PAMPRIN IT HELPS!!!

its very normal

try using a hot water bottle n take sum paracetamol xxx good luk

Some periods hurt more than others. The best medications are NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen or naproxen, unless you are allergic to them. It is easier to prevent pain than treat it once it is in full swing, so you should take medication at the first twinge.

Even though you probably only want to curl up in a ball under the covers, it is actually better to exercise a bit. It will help with the cramping.

If the pain is really bad and nothing helps, talk to your mom or another adult you can trust. A check-up at the gynecologist might be a good idea, to make sure that everything is in the right place and working properly. There are medications the doctor can give to help with the pain. Birth control pills are not just for birth control. They can help tremendously with heavy flow and painful menstruation.

it's normal. it always hurts me.
Try drinking something hot like tea, it works instantly.

Good luck!
