Question: have any of you girls had signs that you were about to start your period as early as a week in advance?

well i get mild cramps about 2 weeks before (i say mild they are painful but mild compared to the pains i get at the actual time :-s) pmt and ridiculously sore chest too :-s trust me you will know if your gettin period signs. some people are lucky enough to get no signs but some people do get signs.

Well you get yelloqw stuff on your underwear about a month before and your private bottom part will start to smell.
I didnt have any signs. It just happened.

and everyones first period is very very light so after i saw a brownish red color in my underwear,i knew it was time:))

well with me i would have serious stomach pains or feel uncomfortable (like constipated feeling) thats how i know its time
and my boobs with feel tender and hurts sometimes
Periods affect women in different ways, some women may not be affected in any way what so ever and just experience the days of bleeding.
However, my periods are a nightmare. I get bad period cramps the whole way through, i feel sick. Im always boiling hot and im the worst person to meet while Im on my period as well!

for like a year before my first one i had discharge...and then the day it came i had stomach pains..and not everyones first one is light...mine was really bad..had to change pad a couple of times an hour.
Before it starts now i get a lot of discharge and pains...and i get a bit moody =P
i just like knew it was really weird....
