Im 18 and have breast lumps. how do i get rid of them? what are they?!

Question: Ever since ive had boobs there has been something weird about the right one. When i was younger (11-12), there only appeared to be 1 lump and i asked a friend if it was normal and she said it was so i just ignored it. when i was 16 or 17 my new doctor was examining me and said i should go see a specialist right away and get a mammogram done. SHE scared the crap outta me making me think i was guna die. i got the mammogram done and wasnt told that anything looked bad.. just water filled cysts. i never went to the specialist. The masses dont feel like they are liquid filled to me and i have gotten more since then and my breast gets pains in it frequently. i know its not cancer but i want to know what it is and if the lumps can be shrunken or removed.. i want them gone and normal breast tissue!! got any info for me? thanks

Alright, you definitely should go to a specialist and make sure it's not cancer. It would suck a lot for you if it turned out you were wrong and it was indeed cancer. If they catch it early enough they can do minor surgery and save your life.

Otherwise they are cysts. Cysts don't feel like they are filled with liquid, but they are (actually they kind of feel almost like marbles or beads). Once pierced the liquid comes out and the cyst naturally relieves itself. However, I certainly would not recommend you trying to pierce them yourself. You should see a specailist for sure.

u shud reali go see a doc...honestly and the specialist dont be scared be strong!!

I would say it is time to go see the specialist who can advise you how to get rid of them. Sometimes you can just take medication and they will go away.
Go see the doc :)
