Why am I still on my period?!
Question: I started Yaz almost two weeks ago. I was supposed to take it within 24 hours before or after I started my period. I did. I started getting really bad cramps that day so I decided I must be getting it. So I started the pill. Well, I did not get it that day. I started three days later and I have not stopped. I am now on my 9th day of my period and it blows. Why wont it stop?
It's very very light. I get cramps at midnight, then 6 in the morning and thats it for the rest of the day. It's been like that for the last 5 days. What is happening? I have taken Yaz before but I had to stop because I could not afford it anymore. I know I am not pregnant or anything because I am not sexually active. I am actually taking it to make my periods shorter. I am going crazy. I am not PMS'ing or crazy or always hungry or anything. Just getting little cramps and some bleeding. It wont go away. What should I do?

Go see your Doctor as soon as possible! you should only go for 7 days at least. If longer you need to be seen by your OBGYN really soon!

stop taking it. I use to have this problem. I had my period for 3 months straight! I took 4 ibuprofen daily for a week. My Dr told me to. It st oped. I cant take the pill. She actually gave me a pill to stop my period cost me 180.00 for it , well my period got worse. So you are just lucky like I am. Do tell your Dr. there is a med condition that you could have called endometreosis not saying you do but it can run in families.
