Put a heating pad where it hurts. If you don't have one get a washcloth, wet it, and stick it in the microwave until its warm. Then put it in a plastic bag.
Unless you have a different reason, you should be able to take midol. As long as you're over 12 you can use it. Otherwise advil or other ibpurofen will do.
best of luck!

No pills, but a hotwater bottle is great! it works honestly. If not then simple painkilers will be good aswell.

i went to sleep.
it makes me ignore the pain.

edit : im sorry now, but the eagle girl has pissed me off.
there are such things as rogue periods when your body feels as if it is having a misscarriage.
you are in immense pain.
i doubt very much that that child has gotten a period at all, shes trampy whore.

Ibuprofen is the best, with a hot water bottle on the tummy, and curl up in bed with your knees tucked up towards your tummy xx

If you have the time a hot bath may help ease the cramping. I know it helps with mine. You can take the midol and you don't have to take it before your period starts.

1. Be active. Curling up in a ball doesn't help - taking a walk or a jog even helps keep things moving. I promise you'll feel some relief - it's just like when you stretch your leg/foot to get rid of a cramp. (Laying still doesn't help it go away, does it?)

2. Heat helps. Take a hot bath or shower, or use heating pads.

3. Tylenol is a great and safe painkiller that won't upset your tummy or put you at risk because of your age. I personally like the extra-strength gel-caps that release the medication into your bloodstream very quickly.

4. Drink lots of water, cut as much salt out of your diet as possible, and eat your fruits and veggies. That'll make you feel better overall, which helps monster cramps more bearable.

paracetamol, always work for me,

Pills suck, go to boots and buy a heat pad. It sticks to your stomach and it gets hot and relieves the pain. I've tried it, it works =]. I hope you feel better soon sweetie! Doesn't it just suck?

please stop complaining, you sound whiny, and i hate when girls complain about their poor little "cramps" oh poor you....not! suck it up!
