Moms. . . discharge. . . pantiliners (guys are helpful too) : )?!

Question: Ok, so today i worked up the courage to casually ask my mom if she could buy me some pantiliners. She said ok, but i am not sure if she really heard my Q. Then later in the car ride, i casually said 'hey mom, you are going to buy them, right?" she said yes. But we went to a big dinner, and i am worried she forgot. I don't want to remind her again, cuz she mite think i am making too big of a deal out of it, but if she forgot i don't think i can make enough courage to ask her again. I rly wan them badly for my discharge( which has been heavy lately) but i dont think i have any more courage left to ask!!!

what should i do?

Well, your mom is a woman, so just remember she probably goes through the same thing you are going through or at least did at one point. I'm sure she knows why you want the panty-liners. I think you should just say, "Mom, did you happen to remember buying my pantyliners? If not, can we both go to the store, so I can buy some, please?" Maybe while you are driving together, you can explain why the panty-liners are so important. If for some reason she forgot and you are having pre-period discharge, use kleenex around your panties - I mean that's if you REALLY need them and she forgot you know? Good luck.

Just ask! ^_^

It's nothing to embarrassing, it may seem awkward to you but to your mother it may seem very much normal ^^

i dont get why this is even embarrassing...just ask again or go buy some yourself.

i think u should tell her
discharge is something u cannot control and she will understand. i know it feels uncomfortable...probebly in your allowence u can by them your self
if ur periioid is coming soon were a pad so the mistake wont b all over you

take care and good luck :)

Just tell your mom that you're having a bad discharge and you feel uncomfortable without the pantiliners. Why are you so afraid to ask? You shouldn't have to feel scared.

OK... Wait until tommorow and if she doesnt buy them by the afternoon, tell her again.

Tell you're mother why. Tell her it makes you feel uncomfortable that its so heavy. I have my period.. and my discharge is so heavy it soaks through an OVERNIGHT pad and my underwear and jeans. I don't why mines so bad.. But I got used to it.

If you don't want to tell her again write her a note and if she carries a purse just slip it in there so she will find it right away.

Spend some time in a local pharmacy and acquaint yourself with the variety of offerings that you can purchase. Ask your mom for some cash if you don't have an allowance. Talk to her again and tell her your concerns. She'll understand.

There's no reason to be afraid or embarrassed. I'm sure your mom knows it'll be worse if she allows you to soil your pants.

As you have asked your Mom twice I am sure she is aware that you need them. If you need them sooner you can always slip a note into her purse and tell her you need them NOW, send her an email telling her you need them NOW, or leave a message on her cell phone when you know it is turned off and remind her to pick them up for you after work or what ever TODAY! She will get the message that you are needing this quickly and not just because you think you need them. If you are really nervous you can do all of the above to get your message through to her loud and clear! You could also ask a girlfriend if she may have a few that you can borrow until your mom gets to the store or you and a girlfriend can go on up to the drugstore yourself and get them - if you are too embarrassed (which you should not be, it is all life and they sell hundreds of boxes of these each month) then pick up your lip gloss, a soda. gum and magazine at the same time. No biggie and that way you will have them when you need them. Welcome to womanhood!

put a note in her car and be like, just making sure you don't forget those pantyliners please!

ask her she will understand
