It could also mean that you may be pregnant. Just wait a least a few days before jumping to conclusions. I've been there! Stressing out about it makes your period delay. Being sick recently or your body is just having an off month can also be reasons for being late.

the brown blood is normal. I found the colour changed as I got older. there are all kinds of things that can cause your period to be late, stress, illness, medications, weight loss, pregnancy, and sometimes it just takes a while after your first period for them to become more regular, some women (like me grrr). never have a regular period
