This should help you decide..
.
Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. It is normal for it to dry yellow. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

Go to the doctor. Better to be safe than sorry. I may turn out to be normal for you. Your body may has an excess of yeast. Or you could have a minor infection. Good luck!

Its discharge and its perfectly normal. Its your vagina cleaning itself out.

it's normal. and no you can't stop it. put a pad in your underwear and you'll be fine.

Totally normal. However, if you notice that it has a bad odor, or is darker colored and sort of chunky (think cottage cheese), then see a doctor. Those could be signs of an infection.

2 be honest i don't rly no. I get the same thing sometimes 2. it is anyoying I'm 11, if it's yellow it's just there 4 some reson idk wat, if it's white ure problably going 2 get ure period rly soon. so i hope u find out. if u do tell me!!!!!!!!

That is called the "whites" and about six monthes to two years before you start your period that's what happens...There is no way to stop it but you may want to look into using panti liners. Don't freak out though every girl gets this and it is normal. Hope this helps!

you have already been told to watch out for bad smelling odour so i wont go their.vaginal discharge is normal.some women or girls lose more than others.if you wear a pantyliner it will keep you and your underware fresher.its just another curse a women has to put up with.

The yellow-white stuff is discharge.

it is totally normal. If you really dont like it, then get pantyliners. http://picnic.ciao.com/uk/26502.jpg

You are fine, and good luck!

As long as it doesn't smell fishy it's normal!

Some discharge is normal in your cycle. This happens to me like a week before I am suppose to get my period, but it doesn't happen all month long and it isn't really green. So if it smells funny or is really thick like cottage cheese, then it isn't normal. Try using liners, they are thiner than pads and will catch any small amount of discharge. If you are sexually active and it itches go see a doctor... and get tested for Trichomoniasis. That has a green discharge symptom. I hope this helps.
