Why do you think the STD rate in teen girls is so high?!

Because its easier for a girl to contract something than a guy, they are actually going inside of us, were not going inside of them,,,, girls have higher chances of catching things, thats a physical fact, ofcourse there are those other reasons like low self esteem,,,, not wanting to ask the guy to put on protection ect...There are those stds that lay dormant too, like herpes, and hpv, not knowing they have it and passing it around,,, its just terrible. Probably because when they get a boyfriend they just know they are "in love" and they'll do anything that boy asks them to do. They will even have sex without a condom. Why? Because they are in love.

Hmm, I didn't even know it was high. Shouldn't you be the one providing some statistics if you're going to make that claim?
Anyway, assuming it's true, I blame abstinence-only education. Abstinence-only education assumes that as long as you tell kids not to have sexual contact and give them no other information about it that they will blindly follow that advice and somehow overcome their hormones. That doesn't happen. Instead, a bunch of kids armed with no better knowledge than abstinence-only education have sexual contact and pass diseases to one another because they have no idea how to have sex safely.
If someone can think of a way of actually making abstinence-only education work without turning society into a dictatorship, all the power to them. But until then, kids need to know about condoms, STD's, health resources, and safe sex practices.
teens are failing to use protection (condoms) and teens are failing to share that information with each other before they have sex. also i'm sure some teens are sharing needles for drugs. i know aids is passed on that way.

Lack of sexual education. They think they are in love and hop into bed willy nilly. They take their partner at their word that they are clean. Ignorance. Typical teen mentality that it wont happen to me.
I think it's because girls want to feel experienced and they think that they are in love with their boyfriend. They think it'll make them "wanted" more. I don't know. That's my best guess.
Basically because there are so many young girls having pre-marital sex. And there are a lot of people not being smart and taking the right precautions. Did you know that 50 percent of girls have had sexual activity by the time they graduate high school! Unbeliveable isn't it!? Also stds" are spread through other sexual situations besides intercourse. They can be spread from oral sex and skin to genital contact as well.
