Could i have Chronic Fatigue syndrom?!

Question: I am always always tired, exhausted even
I dont think i sleep very well anymore, i never feel rested and often wake feeling worse
I also get a lot of random joint pain, chest pain and headaches (lots and lots of headaches - these tend to move around my head and vary in pain levels)
Sore throats
general feeling of run downess
mouth ulcers
forgetfulness and 'brain fog'
nausea
poor temperature control or loss of thermostatic stability,
IBS
increased Urinary frequency

i took the symptoms from wikipedia that fit with how i am feeling. i am so tired! its so hard to function

All i can add is going to see your G.P...even 'old faithful' the medical book can't assess what's wrong..other than stress...

just as well you have the strength to write such a long question eh?

If you had chronic fatigue you wouldnt be able to do that

Sort your sleep out, and everything else will sort itself out.

You have hypochondria more than CFS.

can you say STD

If you had chronic fatigue syndrome you wouldn't be able to get out of bed, or even walk a flight of stairs. But that is just my speculation so I would advise seeing a doctor.

Personally I think you are most likely suffering from a poor nutritional diet, and possibly eating too much of something that your body cannot breakdown efficiently.

I had some similar symptoms and I went to a specialist who advised me to stop eating wheat and cow's milk.

For example I have switched to rye bread and rice milk in my cereal with oatibix instead of wheatabix. This has helped my digestive system immensely and many symptoms have ceased, along with increased energy levels.

I also started to drink more water (2.5 litres a day) and cut down on red meat and alcohol. Lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, nuts and seeds has really changed my overall feeling of wellbeing and energy levels.

I would highly recommend improving your diet, and once you are feeling better start an exercise program. Swimming is fantastic as it is not weight bearing and therefore not harsh on the joints.

Good luck, hope you feel better soon

My friend has chronic fatigue syndrome, and she IS able to get out of bed and function in the morning, and sometimes even work, but is plagued by the symptoms you have listed above. you go see a DR and can properly diagnose you and manage your symptoms the best you can. I have C.F.S/M.E and I can get out of bed! Not all all C.F.S/M.E sufferers are confined to bed this worse case scenario. A lot of the symptoms you describes are symptoms of C.F.S/M.E. You need to have had the Symptom's for 6 months or more before G.P's will consider you having C.F.S/M.E. I have been having treatment for this illness for over a year now, and I'm starting to feel much better and can now work part-time. Hope this helps. I would see you G.P as soon as possible.
