Carm Down
Dont Be So Dramatic Over It
Mums Are Fine With It.
It Feels Hard Leading Up To Saying It, But She Woldnt Laugh Or Anything - Its Natural!
Its good you have an older sister, maybe you could speak to her about how to talk about it.
Dont say you want to die because of such a simple thing, periods are an amazing time in your life however painful or sick they make you at the time. - They area a sign that you are growing up and developing, and of course that you are healthy.
Your mum will understand this is a sensetive topic, but if you go into this the way you sound like you are she'll just find out the embarrassing way. - Blood in your knickers when they go through the laundry and she could feel hurt that you felt you couldnt talk to her about it.
Talk to her in private, say its a very difficult situation for you to talk about, so she knows your real worries.
Dont worry, it'll all be absolutely fine. Im sure!

What the hell are you talking about?
Why are you dreading telling your mum?? My friend did this and suffered alone coping with her periods, then when her mum found out (she will find out eventually) she wondered why the hell she didn't tell her in the first place!

What can't you trust your mum with? It's a period!

Stop being so dramatic and just get on with it, your mum is a woman, what are you on about?

Just tell her and get it over and done with. Remember that she is a woman and will be able to help you and give you advise. That is what I do with my daughter. Surely all women should stick together on this one. Be Brave.

It happens to EVERYONE trust me, every woman has had to go through it, and so has your mum - she will understand. Maybe you could drop it into conversation?? Or just ask her to buy you some pads or something and then she will get the message... it can't be as bad as when my friend got hers and her mum announced it to everyone at the dinner table - big brother included! Trust her, she's your mum. How did your sister tell her? Maybe do the same thing.

Why don't you feel comfortable talking to your mom about your periods? And what do you mean by saying that you can never trust her?

I'm sorry but if you'd explain your situation properly we'd probably be able to offer better advise and solutions.

What does having your period and 'trusting' your mom have to do with each other? It is also no reason to want to die because of your period and your mom. That is silly. I think you need to relax. No one knows for sure exactly when their first period is coming and you are worrying yourself sick and it could be years away. Yes, you most likely should tell your mom. Is she violent or something and will be mad? Or would she just tell everyone? Confusing...

You will have to tell your mum, but in my experience, it is good if you have a packet of your own pads, so you don't have to tell her the second you get it (it will buy you a few days, while you get the hang if it, and when you feel most comfortable)
If telling her freaks you out, you could write her a note, and leave it somewhere she'll find, so you don't have to tell her face-to-face
Best of wishes on your entry to womanhood

girl, stop being such a baby!
periods are nothing but blood that lasts for about a week
its totally normal, do you want babies??
thats why you have them for.
and your mums been through the same thing
so she'll help you with them, so chill out, and tell her;.
my mum died when i was 10 and i started when i was 12
and i only had my dad to tell, how did you think i felt?!

YOU JUST POSTED THIS INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET YOUR MUM OR ANYONE COULD READ THIS

infact youve probably increased her chances on findin out
HAHAHA

Oh you poor little love :(
Don't worry about it till it happens, I bet she'll come through for you and give you any support you may need :)
Most mums are great in this kind of situation.

Good luck, take care you, Lulu x

Please don't die!
If you feel so shy, write a small letter and give it to her, she is your mom supposed to be the closest person to you!

holly g's there's nothing to be worried about. so chill if shes ur mom she luv's u no matter what

I know excalty how you feel sweety, I was still in grade 6 when I first got mine. Just like you I was totally freaking out, I just decided to get it over and done with . Its a little embarassing and akward, But remember your mum would have had to tell her mother once, so she'll probaly understand that its a little weird for you.

Dont worry hun xoxo

you're mum has them too so don't worry just tell her casually don't make a big deal about it. good luck

You act as if you'd be doing something wrong by getting your period. It's nothing to dread telling anyone. This is the ONE thing every woman in the world has in common.

Practice saying the five words "Mom, I got my period." That's really all you need to say.

wtf...anywayz...thxs for da 2 points...
oh and GROW UP!!!!
