i think insomnia for pregnant women is normal.

milk, warm or cold, though warm works best. My grandma said it is good to add a bit of vanilla for flavor. you might want to bring it up to your doctor and I am sure that with your pregnancy in mind he will try to find a harmless solution. Try doing something that makes you tired if nothing else works.

Well, I'm only 15. I'm not pregnant I'm just a normal teenager...except I have a fear of sleeping, a fear of dark and a fear of being alone...can you imagine my bedtime?...Well...I usually am awake until 6:45am and then I shower and I'm back in my room at 7:30am. I lay in my bed and sleep for 30 mins, but it's not like LIGHTS OUT STRAIGHT SLEEP, it's like, I sleep for 5 mins get this dirty twitch it wakes me..20 seconds later back to sleep on and off, my body doesn't let me fall into a deep sleep...I wake up at 8...get ready for school and I'm at school from 9-3:15pm I hang out with friends until 6:30pm eat dinner, and take another 30 minute nap and I continue my routine again, basically im living off an hour a day. The doctor hasn't given me medication he simply says I need to relax and try harder every night.Considering your pregnant he probably wont give you anything, sleeping pills etc. it might interfer with being pregnant...I don't know if any of this helped, but you shouldn't be scared, just drink warm milk, put on a good movie, lay down relax and close your eyes each night it will get easier and easier :]
Good luck
and congradulations with the baby :)
you're probably just nervous cause 9 months is coming
