I think I've got a bladder infection?!

Question: Ok, so it's 4 a.m & I'm up because I have an UTI (I've had one before & know the symptoms all too well).

My question is, do I wait until I can make an appt w/my doctor in the morning or do I go to the ER? Is an UTI considered an emergency?

I was fine last night but woke up around 1:30 with a strong urge to pee. Within the last few hours the symptoms have come on stronger & stronger and now there's blood in my urine. What do I do? I'm in so much pain.

It could be something worse you should make an appointment with your doctor try drinking cranberry juice or if you don't like the taste they make cranberry pills also drink a lot of water because if it is a bladder infection you gotta clean out your bladder
here is a web site to webmd it expalins the symtoms with the kidney stones and the bladder infection and will tell you how to treat them

You need to see a GP if it gets worse you need to go to ER

when i had my uti i called the doctor because my insurance wouldn't cover an emergency room visit because its not considered an emergency. but if theres blood in your urine you should go to the er. it sounds to bad to wait

i would go to the er! you could have a kidney stone (it's not like threatning or anything) but it is very painfull. don't wait go now before it gets anyworse! hope you feel better and drink a lot of water=(

u need to go to doctor
u should check out the temperature if you have
you can take
pain killer
and then after u can go to check out
u have to check your urine routine and microscopic examination
doctor can suggest you good antibiotic on that basis

Blood in urine is considered an emergency by any insurance company. Sure, they will always try to get out of paying, that's their priority job, but this is something that shouldn't be messed with.

Go to ER and let them treat this.
