If you aren't itching, it's not a yeast infection..
.
Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

it can be stress related learn to relax.

so next time you see the doctor speak up for yourself and demand that he take a culture to find out exactly what is growing "down there" and then treat it. If you don't demand good health care you won't get it. Also, you will reduce the odor by hydrating yourself better, you need to be drinking at least two liters of water a day, and if you eat yogurt on a regular basis, you won't get the yeast problems.

it might be an intestinal yeast infection, which causes recurrent yeast infections...so you might want to talk to the doctor about that. Now, intestinal yeast infections get serious if left untreated so work on it immediately!
there is an e-book called Natural Cure For Yeast Infection it works 99.9 percent of the time and if it doesn't work you will get your money back. If your foster mom is cool, ask her to get it (then e-mail me and tell me the secret because I REALLY NEED TO KNOW! I know what you're going through! AAAH!)
And it may not be a yeast infection...it could be bacterial vaginosis. Well will you e-mail me and help me out if you do get that book.
