Shaving question/poll (women)?!

Question: If its the middle of winter and your wearing pants is it neccasary to shave your legs? If no one is going to be seeing your legs.
I think that its a waste of time and razors to shave your legs when no one is going to see them. Any one agree?

I just don't shave year round. My husband doesn't care; he says that if I don't expect HIM to shave, I shouldn't be expected to shave. Shaving is an unnecessary societal expectation that I refuse to waste my time and money on. Not to mention that it really destroys my skin...

if i was not dating i would let them go in the winter months. their would be no reason to even think of it. i'm not gonna let a man see me with hair spider legs though.

I actually DONT shave during the winter. I might shave it when it gets a little too excess for me, but I don't really shave in the winter. It's really pointless, unless you have more sexual activity in the winter than any time of the year. So I agree with you, I just shave when I think I got a little too much excess, just in case if I happen to have a sexual experience with my bf. But we broke up, so now I don't have to freak out as much.

In winter, I really only shave my legs once a week. And that's just because my fiance stays over at my place once a week.

I would agree, but the problem is I have to go to school and wear shorts to gym every day. Otherwise, heck, why bother...it's just unnecessary time and scratches.

Same as above. In Winter I shave my legs for my husband. He likes smooth legs. Also I go to the gym which requires my to have hair free legs.

well i guess so but not nice if you have to lie next to someone at night and touch your legs lol but yes your right and extra warmth at nt lol

I don't shave from Sept. through Spring (unless I have to wear something that shows my legs). I get very dry skin in winter, and shaving makes it so much worse. It isn't worth it, in my opinion. Nobody really sees it besides my husband, and he doesn't mind. He reminds me that his leg hair is longer and he can't feel it whenever I ask.

In fact, the only reason I shave in the warmer months is because I don't like the feeling of wind in my leg hair. LOL

Well in the summer time, my hair grows back so fast I hate it...I do shave in the winter (because I do have a boyfriend) but when I have some stubbles or whatever, he really doesn't care either way...I don't shave as often, but I shave when it starts to get that softer, fuzzy feeling...ew lol.

I shave about once a week in the Winter, but only because I have a boyfriend and live with him... If I didn't have a boyfriend or wasn't dating, I wouldn't shave all Winter. Even though I shave once a week, my boyfriend still teases me about my stubbly legs around day 4 or so - we laugh about it.

i let mine go when my boyfriend works away in winter... i suppose its laziness!

i shave mine coz i feel better having done them might get more stubbley in winter if im not dating

Oh my...If I do not shave at least every other day it drives me crazy! I can not stand to feel my legs rub together and feel little pricklies...yuck! I am sure if I could get past the roughness they would get softer but I just can't stand it ... sorry..

I agree. If no one is going to be seeing your legs then whats the point. I havn't shaved in 3 weeks!

I'll usually do it in the winter a couple times a week, but with my hubby's electric razer. If I try to do it with a normal blade-style, it shaves off my skin, too because of how dry my skin gets.
. but yea, I do it because I don't like having cactus-legs ^_^
