Can large breasts cause back pain?!

Question: I have D cup size breasts. I am fit, exercise, yoga etc... but have a lot of back pain around the area of my bra strap...could my boob size be causing this?

Absolutely.
But always ensure that you have a correctly fitted bra.
At your size, never go without.
You seem to be active enough to keep the pectoral muscles strong which is the area you need to target. Also try sleeping with a wrapped up towel down the centre of your back.
Anchor this like a sausage and this will release all the tension caused from the front heavy load.
Stay cool and stay happy..

it could be...

i'm not a women but i often heard those with large breast complain about back pain...

Yes especially if you wearing incorrect bra.

yes it is many of my freinds have the same things

it said this is possible on tv one day

Yes. However, even with D size (me too) you can alleviate this problem with a properly fitting bra. If the back strap slides up, or the shoulder straps are sliding down, or pinching.. your bra is fitted incorrectly. If the cups are causing "bulge lines" at the top seam of the cup, or if there are puckers near the apex of each cup, then you are wearing the in correct cup size.

It really is important (especially when you are amply blessed :) ) to seek a proper fitting. Go to different stores and try different brands until you find the one that is perfect... You should be able to move actively, stretch etc. with out any change in where the bra's straps sit on your body, the back strap should not shift, nor should the shoulder straps, also you should not have to feel like you need to tip over again to "adjust the girls" :) Once just after putting your bra on should be all that is necessary!
then buy a bunch of them! and every time they are on sale buy more... because when they change the style, unfortunately you have to go on the hunt again (i HATE that, Lil)

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!

Yes, most definitely. I suffer from it occassionally but it has never gotten too severe. However, I am only 20, so that may factor into why I have not. I have known tons of people who have gotten breast reductions because their back pain was so severe. I suppose it just differs with every woman! Have you tried just loosening the straps to see if that helps and/or gotten sized to make sure the bras you were are the correct size and fit for you? That may help if you have not. Otherwise, you may want to talk about it with a family doctor if it starts to bother you regularly. If it becomes a severe problem, then you may want to consider breast reduction way down the line. A lot of insurances cover it. I'm a 30 D and I weigh 120 and am 5'2", so I feel your pain!

agree w/ daniel.

no not at all
although large brests are sign of good health
but not extra large

if you have back pain you take pain killer and go for check up or take advice of doctor
