Going to gynecologist on Monday, but...?!

Question: I have been having this milky white discharge for a long time now. For the last few days, my inner lips/clit are hot, swollen and itchy... it seems like the discharge is causing it and irritating my skin down there.
This is not really relevant but I lost my virginity a couple weeks ago. Just had sex that one time. And it was really painful as he went in (as if he hit something every time) even though he was gentle and everything.
I have 2 concerns... 1. Why was intercourse painful? Am I really short in there? Or maybe I have a cyst or something??
2. Do I have an infection?...
My appointment is on Monday. What can I do before that to ease the itching and swelling?
And what do you think about the whole size thing... Is it possible to have really short vagina so cervix is so close that only half of a penis fits until hitting it?

You may have a yeast infection, but you may have something else. I have had problems in the past with using over-the-counter yeast infections before going to the doctor because it wiped out all of the good bacteria in the vagina and caused me lots of problems. You do not necessarily have an STD. You do not need to freak out. If it is a yeast infection it can be caused by lots of things. Maybe the condom irritated your skin (if you used a condom). Do you have a latex allergy? Lots of things can irritate a vagina. It is really best to see the doctor first, but for the itch you can use the cream that comes with a yeast infection kit or there are some other vaginal creams for itch and just apply it to the labia area and around the opening...that should help.

As for the pain, it could have been normal discomfort with a first time, but it could also have been that you weren't warmed up. The cervix is not very far from the opening when you are not in "sex mode". If you have sufficient foreplay, the vagina extends to allow room for a penis. I would suggest adding a lot of foreplay until you feel really turned on. It being the first time probably caused you to be a little nervous and not as warmed up as you would be a second time.

In summary, do not have sex again before seeing the doctor/your infection clears up. When you do have sex, have lots of kissing and other things before you start!

It might have been painful simply because you were a virgin. I'm told many women find it painful, although I did not.

If you didn't use a condom, then you might have an STD. Otherwise, it could be a yeast infection, which causes severe itching but is easily treated and mostly harmless. Your doctor will know better.

I don't know about having a short vagina, but penises come in many lengths, and if he is too long, then yes, he could hit the cervix. This could also cause pain, particularly at certain angles.

Milky white discharge could be just normal vaginal fluids, I experience this all the time, and my sexual health is fine. once again, your doctor will know better.

first things first; You have a yeast infection, so go to the store and get a over the counter med. in the feminine dept and use it for the next 10 days as per the box.

sec. unprotected sex is where this came from. He had sex before, and the guy was carrying it and you got it.

third, the pain your talking about is typical of a girl with a bruised hymen. I'm thinking your hymen is still intact.

use the medication and the itching and swelling will go down in about 24 hours, and keep using it to kill off all of the infection inside of your body and outside of it.
