Use overnight pads they are longer and will help with your problem. Dont let your period stop you from having fun either

hi im 12 =]
dont let your period stop you from having fun
at sleepovers i normally put 2 pads on just for
a bit more protection

tampons hurt, don't they?
haha, and pads, i hate them.
but i don't have a period anymore :]

anyways, you should get the brand of pads called always, get the ones in the green wrappers, don't get wings, just the regular, or overnight ones, depends on what's comfy to you, and if you get cramps take pamprin, midol, or what worked for me when i got cramps was an ibuprofen 800 mg, you can't get an 800 over the counter, but they do have a 200 mg, but i don't suggest you take 4 of those to get the 800, it might me dangerous, and you know, if anything happens, you can always call home and tell your mom or dad to come get you :]

go have fun!

get a very thick pad i think you can get nice smelling ones if not get fresh wipes and wipe often good luck. i hope you end up going to your sleepover and have fun!

Hi
Im 16, email me if wnat any advice on anything.

I got my Period on saturday and it was totally gone by Sunday night, i know every girl is different, but i shouldnt think your period would last that long.

I think you should just get really good pads, think ones with wings so they dont move about, and change more often, like every 2 hours.

Try out different types of tampons, theirs loads out there.

Good Luck
xxxx

I'm sorry you are having so many troubles. If you talk to a gynecologist, you can limit or possibly even stop your periods with birth control pills. I know for sure there is a pill that gives you only 4 "periods" a year (Seasonale).
Also, I read an interview with a gynecologist, and she said you can take certain birth control pills continuously, skipping the off-week pills, and you won't even get a "period", (the withdrawl bleeding that occurs during the off week pill set). She claimed to have done this for years. You have to talk with a gynecologist or your doctor about this. If the one you have won't listen to you, find another one who will. Though there is nothing wrong with having a period, it shouldn't interfere with your life, and I think women should have a choice to stop or limit their periods.
There are supposedly some birth control pills (like Lybrel) that were being especially made for this purpose, and I don't know what country you are from, but they may be available in your country now or soon.
Another choice would be to try a different brand of tampons. I can't wear certain ones, but other ones don't give me any trouble at all. Some may be a slightly different material than others. It's worth a try.
Honestly, I can't make it through the night with just a pad alone without leaking on a heavy day. If you are bleeding excessively, it could be evidence of an iron deficiency, so you might want to be checked for that. I had iron deficiency.
But yeah, if a couple pads don't work, and you can't do the tampon thing, I would look into your options regarding birth control pills and the hormones that will help lighten, reduce, or free you completely:
