Besides the obvious social and emotional risks, there are physical risks. The body is not mature enough to be able to successfully carry a baby to term and deliver. There is the risk of premature birth and miscarriage. If the baby does make it to term, delivery can be very dangerous. I've seen a show on television talking about girls in Africa who marry and have children as young as 12. They often end up with tears in the vagina that actually allow urine or feces to leak. These tears can only be corrected through surgery.

Other than your parents getting really pissed

just look on google and find something for 'teen pregnancy consequences'.
You'll make less money, be looked down on, yadda yadda yadda

the body isn't really mature enough to cope

um if your the girl your body will feal terrible and you wont be able to go to school or out with your friends becuase your takin care of the baby and probably wont get a good job and yeah :)

Your parents might disown you
The father probably will not be ready for the child and leave you
The father will deny the child is his
He might accuse you of sleeping with someone else
You could die because your body isn't fully developed
You might have serious health issues because of the above reason

I don't know of any PHYSICAL risks if that's what you're looking for. Long ago (or not too long ago depending on how you look at it) it was perfectly normal for a 12, 13, 14 year old to get married and have kids. That was when life expectancy went up to 20's or 30's though. So, I think as long as the said 12 year old is in perfectly good health there should be no complications/risks that wouldn't be there in a 22 or 32 year old, physically anyway. Mentally is a whole other story. In todays world a 12 year old having a baby is most definitley risking the rest of their childhood. It's also risking relationships with peers and the adults in their life as well. It's also risking the baby's life, mentally.

well, um.......... if you get pregnant when you are only 12, you will have to raise a child on your own. This means feeding it, finding time in your school scedule to spend time with it, take it to the doctor, change it, things like that. wow... if you got pergnant when you were 12, then no affence, but you mad a bad mistake. If you really want to get some real advice, then go ask your parents. They have always been there for you (hopefully) and i bet they could answer your questions. Its okay, don't feel bad. But here is 2 more things I have to say for advice:
1.) talk to the father of the child and let him know that it's also HIS resonsibility TOO to take care of theis child. you need to work together on this one.
2.) please.....don't sign up for adorption. When this child grows up, and relizes that his/her parents gave them away, they will have a tough life trying to live there life without knowing who their parents are.
I hope I helped you. God bless, and I'm praying for you.

you can die and or the baby
