After an abortion it can be painful, but it doesn't last to long. Simple Tylenol or Motrin can help you with it. It is your body and if that is what you choose, so be it. Just understand that there are other options, such as adoption. Good Luck!

Consider adoption. There are hundreds of people out there that want children but cant please give them your child if you cannot afford or keep your own child.
It may seem that you cant have a child now but I was scared to death and got rid of the poor little baby, I cried for months. It messed my periods up and it was VERY painful after, constant cramps.
Read up on how they abort babies. Its awful.
If you go through with it though. I understand how you feel, but please think hard 1st.

Local anesthesia takes the edge off it, but the patient isn't numb from the neck down. They feel some pinching, similar to moderate menstrual cramps.
They drug you during the procedure but it is painful afterwards, but not too physically painful.
