What is the average age for a girl to get her first period at?!

Question: Most girls start to menstruate between ages 10 and 15 years. The average age is 12, but every girl's body has its own schedule. Although there's no one right age for a girl to get her period, there are some clues that menstruation will start soon. Typically, a girl gets her period about 2 years after her breasts start to develop. Another sign is vaginal discharge fluid (sort of like mucus) that a girl might see or feel on her underwear. This discharge usually begins about 6 months to a year before a girl gets her first period.

I was 12. Girls start early now though. 10. But depending on your lifestyle, it could be later. Like athletes usually will start later.

13-14

We are all different and unique like beautiful wildflowers growing in a meadow (where, mind you, my little ponies and stickers play).

it is different for every girl. but doctors and stuff say around 10-15. it can change for a girl if they are overweight, then they might get it earlier than 10. vice versa with a really skinny girl they might only get it at 15 or 16+ .

but yeah i would say 10-15 . i got mine 11 and 1/2

girls can get it anywhere from 8 to 20 so its a pretty big gap.
i gues the average is probly 13 or 14. everyones is different in their own special way i guess

Nowdays it is 12.5!
