Troubles With Virginity?!

Question: I am a Catholic and know of 3 virgin spinsters in this age range.

Now, all Catholic say to wait for the ONE for the marriage bed.
No one says the hormones will make a virgin burn, and the troubles and temptations she'll face and the no relief in sight....... Virginity is not all that beautiful people, it is a HELL to pay for. I am not promoting sex here, but it is abnormal to be a virgin today for so long at this RIPE AGE.

You think?

I know what you mean. Im 18 and a virgin with no plans on losing it soon. Im not waiting for marriage necessarily, just to be in love. I want to know that if I give that gift to him, that he'll still be with me. I dont want to give it away then break up and have nothing to give the guy thats only mine.

I think that if you wait it will mean more for you and for the guy.

Good luck.

Virgins who made it thru highschool and into their adult life in this time isnt common.

well that depends, how old are you?

sure agreed but actually i came here to say i fuc|<ing love those marshmallow peeps

I was a virgin until I turned 19. I met my fiance and he had proposed and we, together, made the decision to have sex. We picked a date, made sure we had protection, and then we followed through with our plan. I'm not saying anything is right or wrong, that's a decision for you and whoever you choose to make the choice with. You should choose what is right for yourself.

Yeah its not at all likely to a be a virgin at a young age. In my opinion its due to the downfall in being bought up by highly religious families.

I think it totally makes sense. There is a lot of pressure on girls to have sex these days. If you totally believe in saving it then do it. Don't have sex for other people only do it for you. It's your body and it may feel like you're not in control, but think about what the pros and cons are in you're situation. Think before you act and do what you think is right.

Hey, it's up to you if you have sex or not.
Whatever.

Personally I don't think it's healthy to deny yourself. But that's just me.

i had sex when i got married two years ago when i was 19. its not so hard . i feel great for giving up my virginity to the man i love

I can relate to your situation. When I was younger I made a vow in front of my congregation and before God to remain a virgin until marriage. When I was a virgin it was very difficult to date, and keep relationships but those guys were losers. Recently I met a really great guy and the temptation was more than I could bear so I slept with him. I realized that waiting for marriage is the "ideal" choice, but sometimes life doesn't happen that way. I am 22 years old and lost my virginity about a month ago. I do not regret my choice, even though the circumstances were not "ideal". I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and that you can learn from everything. Even though we are not married, the guy that I gave that special gift to, is someone that I really admire and love everything about. Just make sure that you're "fear of hell" is not keeping you from living your life and taking risks.

I believe that sex should be with the one you marry. The one you truely love and want to live with until death due you part. That's just me though!
