PCOS and insulin laboratories?!

Question: Hi I've just been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I only have it very mild at the moment. anyways I was going to research it to learn more about it and I came across this website by insulin laboratories they claim to have a system that can help either reverse or prevent it from getting worse. Has anyone heard of this or used this program? Am really interested but want to get some advice or perspective. Thanks

PCOS can already be controlled without a gimmick from some laboratory. There are combinations of medications, and other programs to deal with it. The main thing you can do to prevent the symptoms of PCOS from getting worse is maintain a healthy weight. As a person with PCOS, I've discovered from personal experience that the heavier you get, the worse your symptoms will become. The usual coarse of action medication wise, is simply taking a birth control pill. Talk to your gynecologist, or/and an endocrinologist about different medications.

Not overly sure, but I have a feeling I'm soon to be diagnosed with PCOS, so I too am very intersted in the subject. Maybe you could talk with your doctor and see what they think from a medical point of view. I may start researching it myself now and see as we're desperate to start a family.
