I had breast augmentation, how long does it take for breast to soften up?!

Question: I had my surgery 6 weeks ago, under the muscle. I went from a B cup to a D cup and I'm fairly thin. I got 425cc. My breast still feel pretty hard specially the left side, I can't put on a regular bra yet cause my breast don't fit in them right yet. Can anyone tell me from their experience how long it took for their breast to soften and drop. Thank you

I had my breast augmentation about a year ago and I went from an A to a full C and mine was under the muscle as well. You have to make sure and do the massages the doctor recommends to push them down because the muscle tends to contract and push them up. At first, my breasts felt hard too and I was worried that they would stay that way, but after like 4 months, they felt fine. Now, a year later, they look and feel completely natural.

2 weeks

WHY DON'T YOU JUST USE SOME BEACH BALLS INSTEAD IF YOU WANTED THEM THAT BIG

They don't, you will be like this for always!!! sorry

That takes about a year actually.

the doctor should have reviewed this with you. you will need to "massage" your breasts to prevent scar tissue formation and capsulation to occur. if this is prevented they will "drop" and hang more naturally...if you dont...they will be uncomfortable rigid stones on your chest.

take a pic so i can closely examine them before making a concluded decision and preferably zoomed in and zoomed out pics too

My friend's doctor said 2 - 4 weeks depending on the individual. Hers actually took about 6. The most helpful thing you can do is the massage techniques that hopefully your doctor told you about. That will help the most although my friend was too sore to do them at first. She had some fatty tissue removed from the area beside her breasts so that made her more tender for a longer period of time. Once she started doing the massage, she started getting softer.

If you went from a B to a D cup they probably arent going to soften up. Implants make the breast hard. Thats why a lot of guys dont like them because of the hardness. I did not have a problem that much but I went from a B to a C. If it has been 6 weeks I would think they are about like they are going to be. They will drop some more and that might make them a little softer. I would do a follow up visit with the surgeon and discuss it with him. Or call and have the nurse ask him for you. The reason they are so hard is because of the large amount of saline that has been put in them. 425cc is a lot of liquid

I don't have breasts but i know them well.

They should be settleing in place about now but they will always be a bit harder than a natural breast.

Your Dr. should suggest going to Nordstrums and purchasing a nice braw. $50 - $60 + Have the clerk help select the braw for you because 90% of women don't get the braw that fits them properly.
