I'm 13 and I'm only 5ft!!! Am I too short?!

Question: I always keep feeling I'm too short for my age, eventhough i know everyone has a growth spurt at different ages. I hit puberty like 3-4 months ago. How long does it usually take until I MIGHT have a growth spurt??

Your not short I'm 13 and about your height to. You will get your growth spurt soon, you just have to be patient. Don't worry about your height, you will be tall soon :P

You'll get your growth spert when ur body wants to

its different for every person

I know a girl who is five feet and 18... you may never know

I'm 31 and only 5 ft. what are you complaining about! lol
You probably won't get much taller. Girls usually stop growing taller in early teens. Good luck

you'll grow probably until youre about 18. but your height is mostly dependent on how tall your parents are. if your mom is 5 ft and your dad is 5 4 you might be that height. but 5 ft is not too short, some guys like a petite girl

I think only boys get growth spurts after puberty. I'm pretty sure girls stop growing once they hit puberty.

Trust me, you will be fine. You have awhile still to grow. I'm a 23 yr old female and I'm only 5'3 and a half. My parents were both on the short side though.

Hilary Duff is 5'1 and she seems fine

don't ask how i know Hillary Duff's height....weird . i know.

I'm 14 at I'm only 5'1 1/2
You probably will get a growth spurt or maybe you won't it just depends.

no way- you will love it when your older! I'm 5'1"- and I can say.. I'm tons of fun! haha. I'm also 21.
and I have serious rhyme problems.
You may not like it now.. but as a female.. you can grow till your 30 some experts say. So don't worry about it. Most the guys I met would never date a giant any way. But who knows.. maybe they are just trying to be nice to me. Short is great! Plus we get all the cute clothes. :)

Okay...I'm almost 19 and I'm not even five feet tall, so be grateful for what you have and are. People always tell me that they wish they could be as tiny as me because it's "adorable" and so "cool." I'm still insecure about my height because I am relatively tiny for a 19 year old...people mistake me for a 12 year old all the time. You are luckier and will most likely have a growth spurt since you just hit puberty . Embrace who you are and what you have. :)

I'm 15 and i'm 6'2. I didn't hit my growth spurt until I was almost 14 so don't feel bad ur going to get one sooner or later. And don't expect to have growing pains because I never had any. I've seen a 14 year that is 4'8 so yea. And you'll never know exactly when you'll have a growth spurt unless you go pay some good money to have a doctor see if you have growth plates in your spine.

im 19 and 5'1 so your not too short.

Give it time..when i was 13 i was like 4'11 maybe a bit taller..now I'm 16 and almost 5'7 give yourself time you wll grow

I hit puberty at 13 but when i was 14 i grew 4 inch's in one year

your only 13! You have many many....MANY years of growing, girls don't normally stop growing until around there early 20's , sometimes later for others, dont worry, your heighth will come

im 20 and 5'1. i dont know when, but you should probably grow 1-3 inches by the time you're 18, maybe more if you have a tall family. Dont worry if you dont grow 6 more inches. shorter girls are beautiful too!

the media makes tall women seem the most glamorous, but i know tons of real life guys and girls who love short girls. we're cute!

no im 18 and 5 feet. lol

nope! I am 5"1 and i am 13!

well,i think so..cause I'm turning 13 and I'm 5'2..
