I'm getting the gardasil vaccine today; what were the side affects?!

Question: has anyone experienced any side affects?

Answers: has anyone experienced any side affects?

Oh yes. I got the second part about 3 months ago, and I had to come home from school the next day. I got really nauseous, and I had diarrhea. It sucked. Then my arm hurt for about 2 weeks at the site. That was from tensing up when they were poking me. Stay calm!! But I'm willing to go through one day of being uncomfortable to be safe later in life. I'm 16 btw.

Redness at the injection site.

Although most people tolerate Gardasil well, there are some potential side effects of the medication, such as pain in the area of the injection, diarrhea, and nausea. In many cases, Gardasil side effects are minor and can be easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. However, there are several side effects of Gardasil that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider, including a very high fever and signs of an allergic reaction. There are also some rare Gardasil side effects, such as headaches and appendicitis.
