Yes they can! It would be pointless to get a tubal if you couldn't have sex, because the entire purpose of a TL is to make it so you wont have any more children. If you couldn't have sex, why not just become celibate instead of going under the knife?

Yes they can. A tubal ligation just means the woman shouldn't be able to get pregnant again, but it doesn't affect her sex drive or her ability to have sex.

This is an operation where the fallopian tubes are tied and or cut so that the eggs produced in the ovaries can not be fertilised and implant in the wall of the uterus thus making the woman pregnant. It would be a poinless exercise to have this operation and then discontinue sex.

The Fallopian tubes got a ligation, so it means that they are still there but with ropes, that's it, their position did not change.
