First period????!

Question: I got my period yesterday (for the first time). It is not very much....it's just like heavey spotting. Is that normal? Oh, and I know this sounds like really retarded, but what do you do with a used pad? Do you just throw it away, or do you wrap it up in something? Thanks!

It'll take a while for you to establish a pattern, but that'll come the more you have your periods. Have you talked to your mum about this? She's the best person to ask, but failing that, normally the pad comes in a wrapper with a white tab on the end, so when you've finished with the pad, remove it from your underwear and roll it up, it should stick together due to the sticky part and then wrap it in it's wrapper and seal it with the tab. Then just pop it in the bin. When your comfortable with using tampons, the tampon can be flushed down the toilet, but the wrapper and applicator (if you use aplicator tampns - they just make it easier to insert) must go in the bin. Hope this helps.

Dear friend periods are nomal phenomenon in females, you just wraped your pads and send it to dustbeen, just forgot about it andddddddddd ........enjoy periods.

Okay, I'm a boy, but I enough to tell you this. Your period is so typical and absolutely nothing to worry about. With your pad, just throw it away after you use it. Don't ask me how or why I know this stuff. I just do lmao

have a look at this link it should give you all the info you may need

u can wrap ur pad in the wrapper that it comes in (when u change). roll it up wrap in in tissue or news paper.

I guess I could say congrats on your first period. It's absolutely normal, just be careful durin those times. There will be less likely chance of you leaking everywhere. Sometimes you will hate the fact that it's there, but you will learn to live with it.

As for the pads. You really should wrap them up in something. toilet paper or newspaper are good ideas. do this so animals can't smell the blood in dumpster.
