Has anyone been on the pill for a long amount of time (years)?!
Question: If anyone has been on the pill for an extended period of time (say, two years or more) have you had any lasting side effects? I've come across some articles recently that are hypothesizing that long-term use of the pill can permanently affect your libido. Yikes.
I have been on the pill for twelve years with one break about 2 years ago when I had an IUD in for a couple months. I am concerned, so any anecdotal evidence is greatly appreciated. Thanks, ladies!

I was on the pill for 5 years. I never had any problems while on the pill or since I've been off of it (been off for about a year now).
I think I've been on the pill like three years or something like that no more than and so far the only side effect I have had was weight gain...poo!
