Tampon/Pad question(s)?!

Question: Okay I haven't had a period YET, but I am preparing. I was just trying to insert a tampon. And I was going to take it RIGHT out! But I tried to insert it, but it wouldn't go in! I followed the instructions! But also I put I pantiliner on for discharge, And it feels REALLY weird! Is all of this normal?!? Please serious answers! Also I am 12 years old, and they are playtex sports tampons.

its not gonna go in because your vagina will be all dry . if u wanna practice using one, put vasaline on it , it makes it slide better ( but wen u r on your period dont use the vasaline)

panty liners will feel weird but its all normal u will get used to it .

good job for being aware about ur period but enjoy the time u have not having your period yet. it can be crap ;)

DONT PUT A TAMPON IN WHEN YOU DONT HAVE YOUR PERIOD!!!!

OMG please don't put in a tampon if you're not menstruating!!! ack it just sounds awful. the reason you wear a tampon is to absorb moisture and if there's no moisture, all you're doing is sticking something dry up there! uncomfortable ACK!!

and yes, panty liners are awkward and pretty uncomfortable until you get used to them. I would highly recommend tampons (once you actually start bleeding!!!) because they are MUCH more comfortable than pads. pads feel like diapers. eew..

Tampons are much easier to insert when you actually have your period, so just try again when you get it. Pads always feel strange...to me.
Just wait until your period comes to insert a tampon.
Good Luck :)

ok it wouldnt go in because your period helps it to slip into your vagina and it feels wierd inside you because you dont have your period to lubricate it [make it slip in and out esier] um yes somtimes liners do feel weird

don't put tampons on when your not on your period...its not good....and pantyliners and pada might feel strange but you'll get used to them pretty fast...you dont need to practice it'll come naturally when you get it...just ask ouestions but u dont need to practice w/tampons b4 u get ur period

I use tampon's however u have to b very careful using them cos they need 2 b changes at least every 4 hrs. I know some people who went in toxic shock from them but it hasnt stopped me from using them... Pads usually can b very smelly so put powder on it if u choose 2 use it...
