You have to and I mean have to wear and carry both a super absorbency tampon and pad. What's more embarrassing? Having a guy search your bag who sees tampons and pads with EVERY female he searches or getting blood all over your white jeans and having to walk through an airport? How old are you? I was much more embarrassed about those things when I was a teen. Now that I'm 27 and had 1 baby, those things don't bother me AT ALL. :) Good luck.
Don't worry! Yes, it may be embarrassing, but believe me - he has seen his fair share of pads and tampons. Just put them inside another small bag (like a makeup case) and cross you fingers! It may even be a woman searching your bag, or better yet, no one at all! Good luck!
