How long do I wait after a medical abortion to have sex?!
Question: I had to have a medical abortion at 12 weeks of pregnancy, which was advised by my doctor. I had the procedure done on March 14th. The instruction sheet said that I should wait about 4-6 weeks after the procedure to have sex. I was reading online that most places tell their patients to wait for 2-3 weeks or until the bleeding has stopped. The bleeding stopped yesterday. I was wondering if it was okay to go ahead and have sex with my bf or should I wait for another week?

You should always do what your doctor has told you and so if the leaflet says 4 to 6 weeks then you should wait 4 to 6 weeks. I waited that long after I had a pregancy termination. I'm sure you have already been told this but i'm gona say it again :-) when you do Have sex again please use a condom!!! Take care and good luck
people are so rude. if the bleeding has stopped and its been at least a week your fine. take care of yourself and use protection.
its so amazing to see how many people cannot read. it was a medical abortion.....i hate how stupid people are sometimes. its not like she made a mistake and decided to kill an innocent life -- she had to do it for her health!!!! would it be better if she had died? you guys are so stupid.
wait the four weeks tho...just to make sure youre okay:)
